Disclaimer- I apologize for the quality of the pictures. Two week earlier I was hiking the very trails over which the race course ran and got caught out in a rainstorm- a toad strangler- as my grandmother would have called it. My dog, Roxie, and I dried out, but my Pentax did not fare so well. I had my little Canon point-and-shoot, but the picture quality suffered as a result.
